Many patients ask Dr. Siqueira why she chose to become a chiropractor and practice the NUCCA technique.
Her interest in the human body and health began at an early age. As a child she could routinely be found checking her dolls for good health with her Fisher Price Doctor’s Kit. On the path to a profession in health care, she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from McMaster University. The very simple yet powerful philosophy of chiropractic; letting the body heal itself by removing nerve interference, drew her to pursue a career in chiropractic. She completed her Doctorate in Chiropractic (D.C.) at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA (2003). It was there that she studied the NUCCA form of spinal analysis and spinal correction. She is an active member of the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association and is constantly improving her skills and staying abreast of the current research at annual conferences. Currently Dr. Siqueira is Part 1 certified in the NUCCA technique and is in Part II Certification process.
Since 2003, Dr. Siqueira’s greatest passion has been helping people achieve improved health and well-being through this highly effective spinal alignment procedure.
Dr. Amanda graduated from the University of Windsor, where she earned a Bachelor of Human Kinetics. She then went on to graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa with a Doctorate in Chiropractic.
As a student at Palmer College, she travelled to India to provide chiropractic care for those that were unable to afford health care. This was a very rewarding experience as she was able to see how chiropractic care improved the quality of life of those she treated, as well as how thankful they were to receive care.
After practicing traditional chiropractic, she became interested in the NUCCA form of analysis and correction as it is a more precise and gentler approach.
As an active person in sports she saw the positive effects chiropractic had on injured individuals, such as quicker healing times and an improved quality of life. Knowing this, she wanted to be able to help people in the same way and assist them in living healthy, happy lives.
